Martin De Ronde
Interviewed by Option Disabled on 2010/02/08 at 01:17 PM

OneBigGame Founder Martin De Ronde is trying to change the world one game at a time. His latest, Zoe Mode's Chime for the Xbox 360, has been greeted with critical acclaim. (including by this staff member) We got the opportunity to catch up with him, and find out what makes him tick.
How did you first “break-in” to the business?
I sent a letter to Bullfrog, the company co-founded by Peter Molyneux, way back in 1996. I told them I couldn’t code, couldn’t draw but had some good ideas about games which I hoped matched their knack for innovation. I got a temp job as a level designer on Syndicate Wars and although I didn’t make the cut, I had my first taste of working in games and there was no turning back.
